Fellow 2012- Dr April Wong

Dr April Wong was appointed as the Inaugural Fellow in 2012.

During her Fellowship she was successful in publishing two studies:

Two of these were also presented as proffered papers at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons meeting in 2012.

April was also awarded the John Collins Medal and Travel Grant, Australian and New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group (ANZBCTG) 2012.

April continues to maintain research links at Breast and Surgical Oncology, leading a study that assesses quality of life in women undergoing breast reconstruction after a mastectomy for breast cancer. (See current research projects)
