Who We Are
Breast & Surgical Oncology at The Poche Centre is one of Australia's most respected specialist surgical oncology practices. Based in North Sydney, we are a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing expert diagnosis and surgical treatment for breast cancer, melanoma, and soft tissue tumours.
Our practice is located in The Poche Centre, opposite the Mater Hospital — the home of the Melanoma Institute of Australia — in North Sydney. This unique setting places our patients at the heart of a world-class cancer care precinct, surrounded by allied specialists, researchers, and support services.
What We Do
We are a multidisciplinary cancer diagnosis and treatment practice specialising in breast cancer, melanoma, and soft tissue tumours. Our surgeons work closely within established multidisciplinary teams — collaborating with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, breast care nurses, and research colleagues to ensure every patient receives integrated, evidence-based care.
Patients requiring surgery are offered care through the private system at The Mater and North Shore Private Hospitals, and the public system through Royal North Shore, Northern Beaches Hospital, and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospitals.

Andrew is a medical graduate of the University of Tasmania, founding executive member and past President of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand Inc. (BreastSurgANZ).
A/Prof Kylie Snook
Clinical A/Prof Kylie Snook FRACS, is a Sydney-based breast surgeon with over two decades of clinical experience. She holds public appointments as a Visiting Medical Officer at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.
